In 1983, Alan was born in Houston, TX. During his childhood years, Alan lived in Third Ward of Houston with his mother, father, and his grandmother, Rosalind Herron.
During his teenage years, Alan attended both Jack Yates High School in Houston, TX and Columbus High School in Columbus, TX. During early adulthood Alan lived with his grandmother and best friend, Joyce Wilson in Glidden, Texas.
As an adult, Alan worked for his father’s company (API) and oversaw and managed contracts between his father's company and Metro in Houston for several years. He sought out, hired, and trained the employees of his choice and made sure that the work was done right and on time and that all other terms of the contracts were fulfilled - without fail. Later, Alan moved back to Glidden, TX and worked as a Locomotive Technician for his father's company. He was also Manager over API employees at both the Laredo and Eagle Pass, TX Union Pacific Railyards.
Alan was currently employed by Omni Products, Inc., fabricating and manufacturing railroad crossing platforms. He was recently promoted to Manager.
On February 1, 2022, Alan departed from this earthly life. He leaves to cherish his memories one daughter, Ahlon; his mother, Collette (Morris); his father, Sherman "Lucky" (Princess); three brothers: Charles, Trevon, and Sherman "Poppy" Jr.; three stepsisters: Kierrah (Troy), Lisa, and Tarsha; two stepbrothers: Jermaine and Morris Jr.; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
