Aquanetta D. Lawson-Lewis

Aquanetta D. Lawson-Lewis was born to L.C. Punch and Billie Jean Polk in Houston, Texas. She was a proud graduate of Kashmere High School. She accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age and later united with the Greater Pure Light Church under the leadership of their pastor/founder, Dr. Darryl Broussard. 

Aquanetta suffered with lupus but never allowed her illness to hinder her from serving others. She loved working as a health provider and taking care of the needs of others. Her family and friends were blessed with her calming spirit and her listening ear.  She always had an encouraging word to help you along your way. During her pastime, she loved watching television including her favorite shows, “First 48” and "Family Feud."

On March 10, 2023, at 1:00 A.M Friday morning, Aquanetta departed this life at Herman Memorial Hospital Katy, Texas location. She leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband, Ulysses Lewis, Jr.; one stepdaughter, KeAundra Ware; two grandchildren: Roman Ware and Rylee Ware; two sisters: Shannon Ward and Pamela Cartwright; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
