In 1963, Beverly Kay was born in Elm Grove, TX. Beverly also accepted and dedicated her life to Christ at an early age at Elm Grove Baptist Church.
She attended school in East Bernard ISD and loved to play sports and excelled in her studies. After graduating from East Bernard High School, class of 1981, Beverly furthered her education at Wharton Junior College where she obtained her nursing degree.
When Beverly met her husband, Curtis Williams, the pair became inseparable from that day forth. They later married, and their union brought forward four children. They raised their loving family in Nada, TX and remained there for over 20 years. Her husband’s job at Wharton ISD led them to settle down in their later years in Wharton, TX.
Before becoming a stay-at-home wife and mother, Beverly enjoyed a fulfilling career as a nurse. She loved helping and taking care of others and even after retirement her former patients would tell her how they missed her care and concern.
Beverly enjoyed being a wife and mother. Her love language has always been acts of service and she truly spoiled her family with tasty home cooked meals and unwavering support. You could always find her in the stands supporting her children and she often kept score for her husband’s basketball teams. She was also a devoted “BeBe” to her grandchildren. She loved teaching their Bible class on Thursdays and enjoyed telling everyone she knew about the goodness of God.
Beverly was called to her eternal home on Friday, February 4, 2022. Left with cherishing the memories of her life are her husband, Curtis, Sr.; her only son, Curtis, Jr.; three daughters: Regina, Brittnea, and Destinea; two grandchildren: Madison and Winter, Jr.; father, Willie, Jr.; two brothers: Willie, III (Rosemary) and Dewey; two sisters: Wilma (Willie) and Jaqueline (Danny); as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and special friends.
