Carolyn Faye Matthews

Carolyn Faye Williams Matthews was born in 1949 to Tonie Quinn and Jessie Beatrice Williams of Garwood, Texas. As the only girl of this union, she thrived, grew and developed the gifts needed to be a nurturing soul and a loved child.

Sadly, on September 25, 2022, a beautiful and accomplished sister, a wife, a friend, and a mother departed this earthly life. She leaves to mourn, strive and flourish, her husband of 34 years, Ronnie Joe Matthews, and daughter, Rachael Kasmin Mathews both of Katy, Texas; her brother, Wilbert L. Williams and sister-in-law Christina Castle-Williams of Eagle Lake, Texas, Roy D. Williams and Grenda L. Soileau-Williams of Garwood, Texas; aunts and uncle, Brenda Williams of Houston, Texas, Diann Jackson of Houston, Texas and the Rev. Harold O’Neal Williams and wife, Elaine of Houston, Texas; nieces and nephews: Kimberlyn Y. Thomas of Houston, Texas, Jessie Irene Black of San Antonio, Texas (Wilbert), Christopher Daniel Soileau-Williams, Sr. and Adam Jamail Soileau-Williams of Garwood, Texas (Roy); great-nieces and nephews: Richarra D’nea Thomas (Kimberly), Justin Daniel Black (Jessie), Jasmine Danielle Black Rojas (Jessie) and great-great niece Jaylani Irene Rojas (Daughter of Jasmine and Brian Rojas); and sons of Christopher Daniel Soileau-Williams, Sr. are Christopher Daniel Soileau-Williams, Jr. and Noah King Soileau-Williams.
