CLAUDINE B. SHORTER of Eagle Lake, died Monday, February 13th. She was born in Egypt, TX, October 15, 1932, a daughter of Young and Minnie Owens Brooks. The Celebration Service of her Life will be 1 PM on Saturday, February 25th, Providence Baptist Church, Eagle Lake, TX. Her Son/Pastor will serve as the Eulogist for his mothers’ service. Public Viewings, will be Friday, February 24th, 5 PM – 6:45 PM, Saturday, February 25th 11 AM – 1PM; Omega Omega Service, Friday, February 24th, 7 PM Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Suburban Houston-Fort Bend Alumnae Chapter. Interment, Sand Ridge Cemetery, Egypt, TX. Services Entrusted to Ben Davis Funeral Home, Columbus, TX.
