Curt Wayne McTear, Sr.

In 1969, Curt Wayne McTear was born in Eagle Lake, Texas. He attended Rice Consolidated Independent School District and after graduating high school, Curt attended Elkins Institute for drafting and University of Houston for Accounting. Curt worked at Fleming Foods, Richmond State School, Stewart and Stevenson and Coca-Cola for approximately 20 years. Curt married the love of his life, Nickhole, and they were blessed with five loving children. Curt loved playing/watching sports, dancing, traveling, cleaning, barbequing, yard work and most importantly, being with his family.

Our beloved Curt Wayne McTear, Sr. departed this earthly life on November 18, 2021 at Methodist Hospital, Houston, Texas. He leaves to cherish his loving memories his wife, Nickhole; mother, Josie Lee; four children: Rachelle, Kurslyn,  Ni’Kayla, and Curt, Jr.; a niece who he raised as his own, Te’Ivyon; a Goddaughter, Zacavia; six grandchildren: Ja’Brian, Ja’Brae, Legend, Legacy, Kai, and Syr; four siblings: Sharon, Jeanette, Annette, and Davana; and a host of family and friends.
