Emanuel Scott, Jr.

Emanuel Scott, Jr. was born in Shaw Bend, Colorado County in 1946 to the late Emanuel Scott, Sr. and Lacy Scott.

He left high school and moved to Houston, TX in 1964. He worked as a truck driver for many years. He moved back to Columbus, TX in 1987 where he lived until his health failed. He joined Smith Chapel Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Sanders many years ago.

Emanuel passed away on February 19, 2022. He leaves to cherish his memories two sisters: Bessie (Leroy) and Bettie; three brothers: Robert, James, and Douglas (Barbara); two nephews: Nathaniel (Teresa) and Daryl (Sonceria); four nieces: Detra, Brandi (Gene), Jackie, and Michele; and a host of other relatives and a special friend, Dora.

To celebrate Emanuel's life, the family has entrusted the professional services to Ben Davis Funeral Home, 931 Preston St., Columbus, TX 78934.
