Henry "Teety" Wright

Henry "Teety" Wright was the 5th child of ten children born to Lillie Mae Woods Wright and Henry Wright in 1953 in Columbus, TX. As a child, Henry attended Riverdale Black Public School until integration. Upon graduating, Henry was gainfully employed with River Oaks Nursing Home until he retired after 45 years. After retirement, Henry decided he was not meant to just sit home, he then became employed with Columbus Elementary School until his health began to fail.

Along this journey called life Henry touched the hearts of many through his loyalty, sense of humor, kind gestures, and willingness to always be of help to his family and friends. Henry Louis Wright was a true example of a son, brother, uncle and friend. 

Henry passed away on January 15, 2023. He leaves to cherish his memory and legacy to one sister, Cornia Ford (Doll), sister-n-law, Susan, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
