John Ben Stovall
Obituary
John Ben Stovall was born in 1941 to his parents, Ethel Lee Washington and George Stovall. He attended school at E.H. Henry. In 1963, John married Jearline Parker. He proceeded to go to work as a truck driver (where he earned the nickname, “Slack Taker”) and mill worker to provide for his family.
John departed this life on December 19, 2022 and has left behind his wife: Jearline; seven children: Johnny (Sharon), Billie Ray, Bryan Keith (Anastacia Marie), Jearline (Jonathan Lomnick), Charles, John, Jr., and Marlon; along with twenty-two grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one brother, Joe Lee Stovall; two sisters: Rosemary Bluntson and Mabel Godley; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family, and friends.
